Why JHTET Certificate is Important

  • Mandatory eligibility for all Jharkhand government teacher recruitment for Class 1–8
  • Certificate now valid for lifetime (as per NEP 2020 guidelines)
  • Qualifying JHTET does not guarantee a job — it only makes you eligible to apply for teacher posts
  • Accepted for both state government and local body schools in Jharkhand
Pro Tip: If you are eligible for both Paper I and Paper II, apply for both in one go — the combined fee (Rs. 1,500 / Rs. 800) is cheaper than applying twice separately. JHTET certificate is now lifetime valid, so this investment will pay off long-term for any Jharkhand teacher recruitment.
