  3. Fill the application form — personal details, exam subject, exam city preferences.
  4. Upload scanned photo (10–200 KB) and signature (4–30 KB).
  5. Pay fee online and confirm payment.
  6. Download and print the confirmation page.
  7. Last date: 20 May 2026.

Preparation Strategy

  • Paper I: Focus on Teaching Aptitude, Research Methodology, Communication, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and ICT. Previous year papers are the best resource.
  • Paper II: Deep dive into your subject syllabus. NTA releases the official syllabus — follow it strictly.
  • Target minimum 55+ marks in Paper I to stay safe.
  • Solve previous 5 years' UGC NET papers for each subject.
  • Time management: 50 questions in 60 min (Paper I) = 72 sec per question.
