Educational Qualification
- Technician Grade I Signal:
- B.Sc. in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation or combinations thereof, OR
- B.E. / B.Tech / 3-year Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation Engineering
- Technician Grade III (Open Line):
- Class 10 (Matriculation) + ITI Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade from a recognized institute
- ITI trade must match the post applied for

Selection Process
- CBT Stage I: Computer-Based Test — shortlists candidates for Stage II
- CBT Stage II: Trade-specific technical test (for Grade III; Grade I has single CBT)
- Document Verification: Original qualification certificates, ITI (for Grade III), caste certificate
- Medical Fitness Test: Per Railway medical standards (A2/B2/C2 category)

- Fill in personal, educational, and post preference details
- Upload scanned photograph and signature
- Pay fee before 29 July 2026 and submit

Grade I Signal (323 posts) carries Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 starting) — a significant jump over Grade III. If you hold a B.Sc or Diploma in Electronics/IT, apply for Grade I Signal — fewer applicants, better pay.
